Maplewood Village is Holiday Shopping Mecca

The Village is a great place to take advantage of Small Business Saturday (SBS), which is on Sat., Nov. 24, two days after Thanksgiving. Enroll your American Express card and get back $25 when you spend $25 or more at any qualifying small business location in Maplewood. "We're happy to be celebrating Small Business Saturday for the third year in a row in Maplewood Village," said Julie Doran, Manager of the Maplewood Village Alliance. "We love the focus the American Express promotion has put on the importance of shopping small, and we wanted to leverage and enhance that."

But here's the added twist: since not all Village merchants accept American Express (and not all customers carry it), over 20 merchants are also offering special deals, treats or in-store promotions as an additional way to thank their customers.
