UPDATE: Where to Get Ice and Water in SOMA

Locals are in a shopping frenzy today stocking up for Hurricane Sandy. 

As of late Saturday afternoon, Kings Market in Maplewood Village was sold out of jugs of water. "We went through 500 cases today," said a store employee. The store hopes to get in another shipment on Sunday. However, Kings is fully stocked with most other food and other items.

Over at Eden Market in South Orange the freezer outside the store had just been filled with bags of ice, and the water section was full.
