Spay/Neuter Clinic, Hypnosis and Jewelry Sale This Week in Maplewood

The Maplewood Health Department will offer an Adult Health Clinic on Monday, Jan. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at Town Hall (574 Valley Street). Nurses will provide blood pressure screening, carotid bruits screening, weight measurement, health counseling and referrals as needed. For an appointment, call 973-762-8120, ext 4300. The Maplewood Township Committee meets Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. The agenda -- there are three parts -- can be found on the website 

The Maplewood Health Department and the Humane Society will conduct a low cost dog and cat spay/neuter program at Town Hall on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; appointments required, call 973-824-7080 x118. Kittens must be 2 pounds and 2 months old. The wellness part of the program will be held from 2 to 4 p.m.  

NJ Assemblywoman Mila Jasey will be the guest speaker at the Hilton Neighborhood Association meeting on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in DeHart Community Center, 120 Burnett Avenue.  Jasey will discuss "Maplewood and the State of Our State" and will answer questions.
