Conserving and Maintaining Our Water

Amy Rowe has become familiar to MGC
through her participation in realizing the Hilton Rain Garden. She is the
Environmental and Resource Management Agent of the Rutgers Cooperative
Extension for Essex and Passaic Counties, and her objectives are to integrate
research, education and extension work to help local communities find solutions
to our rapidly changing state and the risk to it’s water resources. For six
years the work of the Essex Cooperative Extension has been honored with the
Governor’s Environmental Excellence Award. Find out how to do your part in
conserving and maintaining a clean water supply Monday, May 5, 2014, 7:30
PM at the Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker St., Maplewood, NJ. The meeting is open to the public,
admission is free and refreshments (often home made!) are served.
