Life Drawing Class

Life drawing is a study of the human form in its various shapes and postures. It is an historic practice that dynamically engages the artist with the angles and proportions of the body. Students will draw from live models each week and do both gesture and longer-term drawings. Experimenting with charcoal, as well as brush and various paint and ink media. There will be a critical focus on line, structure and value. Students of all levels are welcome. An additional $80 model and materials fee is due to the teacher on the first day of class.
