Maplewood Community Band Rehearsal Tonight! Come join us!

Is your instrument collecting dust in the attic?  Did you play an instrument in high school/college, but haven't played in years or even decades?  Are you an amateur musician looking for a band or a musician who just wants to play more?

We welcome all woodwind, brass, and percussion musicians with at least high school level playing experience.  No auditions!

About Maplewood Community Music
Formed in 2003, Maplewood Community Music (MCM) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to enriching and inspiring amateur musicians and audiences of all ages in the Maplewood area.

All local amateur musicians are invited to join the Community Band to continue their lifelong love of music. In turn, our musicians—all volunteers—are dedicated to bringing family-friendly performances to the Maplewood area throughout the year.  Along with the community band, we are home to Bones Unlimited (trombone choir), Jackson Square (Dixieland), the MapleWoodWinds (wind quintet, and Swing Town, Maplewood's own 20-piece big band.  All our ensembles perform for free at public concerts, concerts for veterans and seniors, town events, schools, and more.

Partnering with other local organizations, our schools, and the town, MCM also provides and supports music-related community and youth enrichment programs.

MCM operates with support from the Maplewood Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs and with donations.
