Sandy Relief Fund Art Show & Folk Arts Friday

The Sandy Relief Fund Art Show will have an "open house" during Folk Arts Friday, 7:30 PM, on the 2nd Friday of the month from now through June at The Ethical Society of Essex, 516 Prospect St, Maplewood, NJ 07040.


Folk Arts Friday at The Ethical Society features the following activities:


Folk music
        Recorders, xylophones, percussion instruments (drums), available for children of all ages.
        Adults of all ages are invited to bring their own instruments
    Folk art
        For adults of all ages (bring your own stuff):
            Quilting, knitting, crocheting, ...
        For children of all ages (stuff will be available):
            Drawing, coloring, painting, finger paints, playdough *we'll make it ourselves ...

The art show began on December 15, 2012, and runs through June 17, 2013. It currently features the work of several artists including Karen Bokert, Eva Bouzard-Hui, Irene Dunsavage, Rosemarie Gelber, Rebecca Gelman, Rita Gelman, Paul Greene, Teresa Helmkamp, Barbara Krales Cotler.
