On Sunday, December 8 head to the Durand-Hedden House with your family from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. for a fun, old-fashioned prelude to the holidays.  There will be vintage decorations to see and a captivating display of inventive entries to the 2013 Durand-Hedden Gingerbread House Competition to explore.  (Interested in being a contestant? Enter by December 5. See www.durandhedden.org for details and entry form).  Don’t forget to bring your camera to catch a photo of your children with our real live “Victorian Santa.”

discounted sale” of historic- themed treasures:

pens and ink, historic cook books, cookie molds, tin lanterns, hand blown blue
birds, reproductive decorative items and ceramics, and more. The hard- to-find

friends, teachers while benefiting the Durand-Hedden House.
