The Maplewood offers casual dining in a relaxed atmosphere. The new menu will offer many fresh, innovative items, gluten free & vegetarian options, as well as some of your old favorites revisited. “The menu far exceeds your usual deli menu. I enjoy infusing global flavors into my cooking, whether itʼs Thai, Mexican, or Jamaican” says chef / owner Eric Gurny.

Gurny, a true local, grew up in Short Hills where he attended Millburn High School and is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. He has been the chef at many fine restaurants both in New York City and here in New Jersey. It has been a life long dream to return to his community and open a neighborhood restaurant.
