Don’t let cold weather stop
you from enjoying beautiful flowers. At the October meeting of the Maplewood
Garden Club, Laura Clare, floral designer and event planner, will demonstrate
techniques and ideas for creating arrangements to add beauty to your life in
every season. Laura specializes in exquisite arrangements and
elegant decor for everyday and special occasions. Her trademark designs are a synthesis of fine European style and American inventiveness. Stemming from her love of nature and gardening, Laura’s background includes a degree in horticulture from Cornell University and numerous apprenticeships with
well-known American and European designers. Ms. Clare has earned awards and accolades from regional and national magazines, associations, and private devotees. Known for having an incredible eye for color and graphic design, her clients utilize her expertise to coordinate anything from small dinner parties to extravagant galas.



Find out how you can head into winter prepared to fill it with flowers, WEDNESDAY, October 9, 7:30 PM at the Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker St., Maplewood, NJ. The meeting is open to the public, admission is free and refreshments (often home made!) are
served.
