Maplewood Glee Club Spring Concert with Scholarship Winner and Excelsior Singers of Columbia H.S.

West Orange High School senior Kristin McCulloch has won the 2014 John A. Plumer Memorial Scholarship Award from the Maplewood Glee Club.

This annual scholarship, worth $1500, has been presented
annually to a musically talented high school senior in the Maplewood Glee Club area.  In addition to winning the scholarship, Kaitlin will perform as a guest artist at the Maplewood Glee Club’s Spring concert, “A Toast to the ‘50s” on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 8:00 pm at the Prospect Presbyterian Church, 646 Prospect Street, Maplewood.  Kaitlin is the Head Chorister at Grace Episcopal Church in Madison and also is in the “Mad Jazz” select chorus at West Orange High School.

Also performing with the Maplewood Glee Club will be the Excelsior Singers of Columbia High School under the direction of Jamie Bunce-Arraial.  The MGC Doo-Wop Preservation Society will give their spirited rendition of selected Doo-Wop music from the 1950s too.
