Northern NJ Professionals in Transition will
meet twice
on Monday mornings during July, beginning at 10 a.m. and running until
noon, at the Main Branch of the Maplewood Library, 51 Baker Street in
Maplewood. There will be 2 different presentations/discussions to assist
you in your job search.
On
Monday, July 8th, Tony
Calabrese will introduce the group to “Assessment Tools To Assist You In
Determining What It Is That You Want To Do Next.” If you are having
trouble deciding what type of work to pursue; the type of environment that is
best for you; which things have satisfied you in past jobs and which have not;
then this presentation will be of great value to you.
Monday,
July 22nd, Tony Calabrese will return and talk to the group about “The
Importance Of Follow-Up In Your Search (And In Your Life).” In today's
world, where we are becoming more dependent than ever before on those who we
meet for that next lead and that next opportunity, just making the contact is
not enough. It is important to be prepared to follow-up, whether it is
after a lead, an interview, or just to gain knowledge and information.
Lack of follow-up is the cause of many lost opportunities—don't let that happen
to you!
