On Sunday, March 30, 2014, Prospect will continue to celebrate their 100th Anniversary by celebrating Prospect's Education Ministry and those who were called into ministry. Special Guest will be Rev. Valencia Norman.
Rev. Norman earned a master’s degree in business from Carnegie Mellon University and had a successful career in human resources,specializing in labor relations and management development. In 1994, she left her work in the corporate world to attend seminary. She graduated with distinction from Union Theological Seminary in New York City in 1997, and became the Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Cranford, where she led the congregation’s work with Youth and Adult Education Ministries, Social Mission and Evangelism, Congregational Care, and its nursery school and after-school programs. She is also a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in New Jersey and New York. Rev. Norman is currently the pastor at First
Presbyterian & Trinity Church in South Orange, NJ, and a former member of Prospect Church. Come and join the celebration at 10:30 AM!
