The Captivating Cosmos

The Captivating Cosmos features artists who are inspired by the
universe and who create works of art with cosmic themes. This exhibition blends art and science to create an exhibition that is educational while showcasing the beauty of the universe.

Artists include: Luis Alves, Kiyomi Baird, Diane Churchill, Pasquale Cuppari,
Gray Jacobik, Pat Lay, David Mazure, Rachel Katz, Kenneth Nicholson,
Martha Robinson, Assunta Sera, Marianne Trent, and Jantje Visscher.
The exhibit is curated by Alyssa Dreliszak and Meaghan O’Connor.


The Pierro Gallery, located in the Baird Center at 5 Mead Street, South Orange, Nj is presenting this exhibition is association with the Seton Hall University MA Program in Museum Professions. The exhibition opening reception will be Thursday, November 7 from 7:00 – 9:00pm. A panel discussion with selected artists will take place on Thursday, December 12th at 7pm in The Beck Room at the Walsh Library, Seton Hall University,
400 South Orange ave, South Orange, Nj,07079.
