Join the Community Coalition on Race on Monday, January 20 at 2 pm at Oheb Shalom, 170 Scotland Rd. in South Orange for this moving remembrance of Dr. King and reflection on his legacy at work in our community. Rev. Dr. M. William Howard, Jr., renowned pastor of Bethany Baptist Church in Newark, NJ, is the featured speaker. There will also be a stirring re-enactment of one of Dr. King’s speeches, selections from Voices in Harmony, Columbia HS Special Dance Company, jazz musicians, and selected readings from a cross-section of the faith and youth communities.  A Volunteer Fair and Community Service opportunities follow the observance.
