Maplewood Middle School and South Orange Middle School will each host School in Action night on Thursday, where visitors can get a look at all the wonderful things going on in the district's middle schools. Middle schoolers have a four-hour day and will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.

The Maplewood Township Committee meets Tuesday, 7:30 p.m at Town Hall. On the agenda is a discussion of the architectural and financial plan for the Maplewood Woman's Club and the redevelopment plan for the Post Office site. In addition, the township will vote to adopt the final 2013 budget.
