It's Book Sale/Bake Sale time!

Please join us this Saturday, June 7, 9am-1pm, for our sixth annual kids' book sale/bake sale benefiting Kids v Cancer. We have many, many boxes of gorgeous kids books, any of which can be yours for a mere 25 cents (or, even better, ten for $2). Whether you're interested in a 1944 edition of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales, a pop-up Moby Dick, picture books signed by the author, the complete Lemony Snicket series, activity books for long car rides, or enough books to keep your teen reading all summer long, we have you covered.

Thanks to many generous donations, we have an unbelievable selection, including  boxes of books that are absolutely brand new. In addition to the expected categories, we also have history and biography, poetry and drama, classics, science and nature, dinosaurs, other animals, comics, Disney, sports, Christmas, religion, Jewish interest, art and music, humor, and much more!

And all for a great cause: Kids v Cancer (www.kidsvcancer.org). In 2012, thanks to the tireless efforts of Kids v Cancer, Congress passed the Creating Hope Act, which provides incentives to pharmaceutical companies to develop new drugs to treat pediatric rare diseases. This year, the FDA awarded the first Creating Hope voucher. Our efforts can make a difference!
