There is no love like a love of a parent for his or her child. Our children are our most prized investments on this earth and when you are blessed enough to find or meet someone who loves, supports, teaches, nutures, advocates for, and invests in your child as much as you do as a parent, you know that person is beyond special and a treasured & priceless GEM. That is who Johanna Wright is to me, my children, my community, fellow educators, and the many, many students both current and former in our School District and abroad. I find myself wondering when does this woman sleep? How does she still look so refreshed, rested, and beautiful when I know her days are long and her nights are short. Folks, it is called a heart of gold that radiates its golden rays of sunshine from the inside/out and touches the hearts of those it reaches. It's pure, nonjudgmental, unconditional love for OUR kids and I mean that literally because she is known as "Mama Wright" to hundreds and hundreds of kids and now adults and parents themselves. All I can say is for those that do not cast a vote for Johanna, you or your children must not have had the pleasure to meet or learn from her, but even if that vote is not cast for her, "SHE'S GOT YOU!" Elected or not, she is already the heart and soul of the SO/Maplewood School District and our VIP & BLUE RIBBON WINNER! I am so proud and honored to be a part of her world!! This time I GOT YOU!
