Crews Battle Fire at Irvington Avenue Home

At least four fire departments battled the blaze near the Newark border on Sunday.

Fire crews from Maplewood and surrounding towns battled a blaze that erupted in an Irvington Avenue home on Sunday. 

Units from Maplewood, Newark, Orange, and South Orange Fire departments responded to a fire at 664 Irvington Avenue in Maplewood, located near the Newark City border. 

Maplewood Fire Department was unable to be reached for comment on Sunday.
