A 22-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct on Saturday, Dec. 29, after his parents alerted police their son was reportedly intoxicated and had taken a knife from the kitchen, according to Maplewood Police Capt. John Perna.

The man, Joris Koranteng of Rutgers Street, reportedly had an argument with his father at the family's home over the son's excessive use of alcohol, said Perna. Koranteng was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the argument, said Perna.
