In Memorium 2012: A Farewell to 14 Citizens

The Township Committee honored these citizens for their civic contributions at the Jan. 1 Township Reorganization Meeting.

Each year at the annual Maplewood  a list of the names of prominent Maplewoodians active in civic life who died in the past year is read. This year, Township Clerk Elizabeth Fritzen read the names.

Rev. Chris Heckert, Senior Pastor of the Morrow Memorial Methodist Church, gave a tribute and memorial prayers. Maplewood resident Eddie Korbich sang a touching rendition of "I'll Be Seeing You."
