- South Orange - Maplewood public schools are closed Monday for President's Day. School will resume on Tuesday. For more details on President's Day closures around town, see this article.
- On Tuesday, Feb. 19, the Maplewood Township Committee will meet at the municipal building at 574 Valley St. On the agenda is a discussion of opening the Maplewood Community Pool on Memorial Day weekend this season and increasing fees by $30 per family to cover the costs of the extended season. The committee also will vote on establishing a sewer litigation surcharge of $18 per household. View the full agenda here.
