TC - here is a novel approach in lieu of assuming you "know" what the residents want on these issues. First of all, slow down - no need to vote Tuesday night. Then, send a simple survey to last year's pool membership, and also the Township residents at-large. This way you will be more likely to represent the voice of the people, rather than what you believe is the best solution. In fact, if you are interested I will even mock up a five question survey (keep it simple), that you can use. Let me know if you are interested - John

The Township Committee also will be discussing the 2013 capital budget and revenue estimates for the 2013 operating budget. It was mistakenly left off the preliminary agenda.

It doesn't seem like a good idea to open the pool that soon. The children are still in school at that time.

I have already took an online survey about the pool, membership and other questions. Did you miss it?

I think opening the pool on Memorial Day is a great idea! With global warming, it should be nice & balmy by then, and we can take our kids after school & on the weekends.

Jennifer, I did not receive a survey. Did the survey ask for feedback on fees and opening and closing dates. If so, the TC should have a good idea of the preference of members and residents. Regards - John
