Township Committee Meets Tonight, Aug. 7

Budget to be adopted; also discussion of reciprocal pool memberships with South Orange.

The  meets tonight, Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m. at the Maplewood Police Station at 1618 Springfield Ave.

  1. Adoption of 2012 Municipal Budget
  2. Resolution to authorize execution of the redevelopment agreement with Elite Properties, LLC and 92 Burnett Avenue Urban Renewal, LLC.
  3. Ordinances on final passage to prohibit the depositing of trash or litter into any street gutter and requiring owners and occupiers of properties to keep sidewalks free of litter; and requiring additional solid waste pickups in Maplewood Village.
  4. Discussion of reciprocal arrangement with South Orange for certain pool memberships, and of a proposal by Urban Design Lab of Columbia University for a planning and design research project regarding the Maplewood Post Office site.
