CHS Holds Homecoming Parade

Columbia High Schools Marches to Underhill Field.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.  Or that was the approach taken by Columbia High School on Friday, October 18, when the renovation of the school's auditorium made it strictly "off limits" for the annual fall pep rally.  To find space for the pep rally, school officials considered using Underhill Field, but how to get the entire school up there?

Answer: Stage a parade.

On a beautiful autumn day, the CHS marching band and drumline led the way, accompanied by cheerleaders, the color guard, and of course, the CHS students.

Could this be the beginning of a new homecoming tradition?
