The Art of the Handmade Book
Registration is required. Please register in person at the adult circulation desk at Main Library. for adults 18 and older.
Come learn to make two basic book structures; one using the pamphlet stitch and beautiful Japanese Washi papers for covers, and the other an accordion fold book with stiff paper covers.
Book Arts Roundtable members Karen McDermott and Benita Wolffe will lead this enjoyable and educational morning workshop. You will leave with two finished books, and the beginnings of a book binding vocabulary.
The Book Arts Roundtable was established to encourage the love of book and paper arts.
