MLK Silent Peace March at MMS on Jan. 13

The annual march for middle schoolers to celebrate the memory of Martin Luther King Jr.

Once again, Maplewood Middle School will be holding its annual in commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

"The silent march includes all students and staff from the middle school and represents a continued commitment to the ideals that Dr. King and so many others peaceably fought for," wrote MMS Grade 6 Team Leader Richard Palmgren.

As evidenced from of last year's march, the sight of hundreds of middle schoolers walking silently through Maplewood Village is stunning and somehow profoundly affecting.
