South Mountain YMCA Gymnastics Teams Clean House At State Competition
Three competitors will be going on to the YMCA Nationals competition this summer in Florida.
The South Mountain YMCA Aces Gymnastics Team made quite a showing at the NJ State Competition.
Both level A and level B competitors were present at Sundays event, placing a total of nine times through all events.
The winners are as follows:
- Taylor Milch of Montclair, level 7 B division: first on floor, tied for first on vault, third on bars and fourth on the floor. She received an overall score of 32.6, putting her in second place for her level
- Kellyn Shuster of South Orange, level 8 A division: fifth on the floor, with an overall score of 30.9
- Grace Healey of South Orange, level 7 B division for 13 and under: tied for first on bars, fifth on beam, fourth on floor, fifth on vault and third place overall.
