Maplewood Counts Down to Turnover Time

Morrow Church's July sale marks 80 years

The 80th Turnover Sale is approaching and volunteers say the July event will be better than ever.

Morrow Church's United Methodist Women hold an annual rummage sale each July.  The "Miracle on Baker Street" transforms two floors of the church and a large outdoor tent into a wonderland of gently-used goods.

The sale raises money for mission and charitable projects.  Unsold items are donated to Goodwill Industries, The Methodist Home in Ocean Grove, the Burn Center in Newark, American Rescue Workers, CUMAC, PCCI, Habitat, Essex County Family Violence, and other charities.

To donate goods:

Drop off your quality donations June 15th through July 13th (not during sale dates).  You may come by the church during the day if you need help unloading. Otherwise, an area is designated near the lower Baker Street door for "after-hours" donations.
