The Weekend: Musical, Concerts and a Sing Along with Ice Cream

Diversity Youth Theater presents a family-friendly musical, Think For Yourself! at Luna Stage.  Follow the mishaps and comedy as a group of friends attempts to save Marv's Marvelous Flea Market.  Entertaining for all ages! $20, $12 for kids; Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.; West Orange

This weekend’s free Summer Concert features the Silver Starlite Orchestra, performing classic big band music.  This 20-piece band specializes in swing, so prepare for a toe-tapping evening of fun at .  Free; Sunday at 7 p.m.; Millburn

The Essex County Summer Players Orchestra will make their debut at their new venue – the Auditorium at – with a free concert.  The program will consist of the Fanfare from La Peri by Paul, Serenade for Strings by Antonin Dvorak, Serenade for Winds by Richard Strauss, and Symphony #4 by Johannes Brahms.  Free; Sunday at 3 p.m.; Livingston

Sing along while enjoying ice cream at the Parish House at .  Join friends and neighbors in singing and playing air guitar to the beloved hits of the Beatles, performed live by the band Fab Five. Donation of $10 per adult, $5 for children under 12; Sunday at 4 p.m.; West Orange

Trail maintenance is hard work, but the rewards are worth the effort.  Join the folks at the South Mountain Conservancy as they clean up trails on the Reservation.  Work gloves, tools and water are supplied.  Sturdy footware is recommended.  Sorry, all volunteers must be 15 years or older to participate.  Free; Sunday 9 a.m. to noon; South Mountain Reservation
