Maplewood Farmer's Market, New Editor This Week in Maplewood

Here is what to expect this week in Maplewood.

The Township of Maplewood is wrapping up the summer while enjoying the last week in August without any meetings.

The Maplewood Farmer's Market is open on Monday, Aug. 26 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The market is held on Springfield Ave. at the Indiana St. Parking Lot and will run every Monay until Oct. 28.

“Join us for a great season filled with Jersey fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, pastries and preserves, cheeses; prepared foods like steaks, burgers, crab cakes, Cambodian cuisine and the most refreshing vegetable juices anywhere,” the township posted on its website.

The Township Committee will be bouncing around ideas with the Public Safety Committee on how to keep the town safe, following a meeting to address a recent park shooting.
