It's another slow week in Maplewood and South Orange, as local governments start to get back into the swing of things after the holiday break.
South Orange Village President Alex Torpey will hold office hours Monday, Dec. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 76 South Orange Ave, 3rd Floor, Suite 302.
Maplewood Municipal Offices will be have a half-day on New Year's Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 31. The Maplewood Township Committee will hold its Annual Reorganization Meeting of the Township Committee from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at town hall.
South Orange Village offices will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1 for New Year's Day.
Schools in the SOMA District will remain closed for winter break until Thursday, January 2.
The SOMA Board of Education will hold its reorganization meeting at 7:30 p.m. on January 2 at 525 Academy Street in Maplewood.
