In 2003 Maisie Fernandez opened Adassa Early Childhood Education Center, a pre-school that caters to children from three months to 5 years. The center now has nearly 30 students and six full-time care providers. The facility has a play room, nap room, kitchen, recreation room and upstairs activity room for older kids. Much of the curriculum is taught on computers, such as identifying shapes and coloring, to make even small children comfortable with the technology they will use in the future.
