We are a casual, family-oriented, fun and exciting restaurant, which holds the principles of authentic Italian food and culture close to us as we grow. We select our simple, whole ingredients and combine them by hand and with heart using the intense heat of our wood-burning ovens to lend unique flavor to our food. We have a passion for quality and pride in our product.

Arturo's is known both for its brick-oven pizza and the Saturday night tasting menus conjured up by young owner/chef Dan Richer, who took over in 2007. Fresh local ingredients and an artisanal tradition drive the multi-regional Italian cuisine.

Without a doubt the best brick oven pizza I've ever had. Correction, without a doubt the best pizza I've ever had!

But that's just the beginning...
Dan's pasta dishes are enough for two, both in flavor and in size. My favorite, penne w/sausage ragu, but I've loved them all.

My favorite salad, his goat cheese salad which is made with fresh baby greens, goat cheese, dried cranberries and red onion with balsamic vinaigrette.

Small plates, my two favorites, Dan's fire roasted meatballs and his ceci, chick peas marinated in extra virgin olive oil with cucumbers and parmigiano.

Arturos Osterio and Pizzeria to me is NJ's "best kept secret."

I'm not sure if it's the amazing thin crust margarita pies or the eclectic fresh Saturday night tastings that makes Arturo's the best place in NJ... Maybe it’s just knowing you are eating incredibly fresh food that is always uniquely yummy!
