When we first moved to the area, was happy to find a local, casual place to eat and drink with outdoor seating. However, each visit the service has become progressively worse...to almost non-existent. If you sit outside, forget about getting your drinks sooner than 20-30 min after placing your order and as far as food goes, we were given menus after 20 min of waiting outside, then, after another 20 min, passed, we finally went inside to pay for the 1 drink we were brought in 40 min and left. No one ever came back for our food order or to see if we needed anything at all. We gave Bunny's 2 more tries after that, both equally disappointing. Last night was a repeat and waited only 15 min for a drink...then another 30 min for one cup of coffee and then another 20 for the check...which no one came to retrieve. We finally brought it inside, paid at the bar, and left. If you want a drink or pizza, go inside, but don't expect any good service or exceptional food if you sit outside. Very disappointing.

Bunny's is a family-run business that was started over 80 years ago. The space was being used as a candy store when current owner Leslie Pogany's grandmother opened the restaurant and took out the first liquor license in South Orange after the end of Prohibition.
It's a family-oriented restaurant (with sizable crowds after youth soccer games and for Our Lady of Sorrows night on Tuesdays), but there's also a robust bar and Happy Hour scene. Take your pick from booths, bar or the tables. In the summer, you can sit in the garden.
Happy hour is from 4pm to 5pm; there's free pizza and specials on pitchers of beer. Come watch one of the 18 TV's, every sporting game is usually on one.
There's a side room that can accommodate private parties of 25 to 30. Delivery is available daily from 4pm to 9pm.

Love, Love, Love Bunny's! They have the best pizza, wings, and sandwiches around! And I have to disagree with the other reviewer here, I've sat outside and enjoyed many a cold beer and have had exceptional service.
