Kumon Math & Reading Center of South Orange is an after-school math and reading program for students of all ages. Kumon schools have a unique, longer term approach to helping students.  Their programs focus on core academic skills and also nurture strengths that are key to a child's success throughout their schooling. The South Orange center also has a Junior Kumon program for pre-school and kindergarten students.

John Lang, formerly affiliated with the Gallatin School of Individual Study at New York University,  is a certified Kumon instructor and the owner of the South Orange center. Free placement exams are available, more information is available on their website.
