Fabulous place! The sales are amazing and the lower level is chuck full of goodies for your home. Plan to spend some time. I have to agree with the other reviewer, the clothes I purchased had to be immediately aired out and cleaned. It smells like spicy men's cologne- not sure if it the atomizer or not. They should update the fragrance to something clean and modern or just use an air purifier. The ladies who run it are darlings.

Great bargains on good quality clothing upstairs, interesting choices in decor and furniture downstairs. The only drawback: the pervasive, overwhelming spice scent from the room atomizers they use. If you don't love it, you'll have to immediately wash, dry clean or air out anything you purchase.
what is up with these women at Renaissance Boutique? I seriously question their business sense, and aesthetic tastes with high-end and couture women's clothing. I normally consign with DoubleTake in Short Hills which is super high end, and they won't even look at anything without a major designer label. I thought I'd try my local mom&pop consignment boutique and offer my best stuff; (Bottega Veneta, Chanel, Givenchy, Robert Clergerie, Prada, Eskander, and the list of beautiful, high-end quality goes on...) All of my stuff is like new, or never worn, some still with tags, and current. Nothing 'vintage', which they seem to think is a dirty word. These women snooted me right out of the shop. Hard not to take personally. In brief - bring your good stuff to Doubletake!
