Suburban Learning Center was founded in the early 1980s by Jean M. Holmes, to provide diagnostic evaluations, remedial services and individual tutoring for students with mild to moderate learning differences. The center has a private group of learning consultants and remedial specialists, who tutor based on set objectives, the student's response to instruction, and parental input regarding the student's performance at home and school. Tutoring is specifically designed to reflect each student's unique learning style. Study skills and organizational strategies are also taught as per the demands of the student's curriculum.
