Teaches grades 6 through 8.
In the last three years, has been recognized by the state as a "Benchmark School of Excellence" for its students' scores on standardized tests.
One of 15 "First Amendment Schools" in the United States, operating under a private grant from the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) and the First Amendment Center/Freedom Forum that lets students explore their free speech rights.
