• The clerk acts as the town's official secretary, taking minutes at town meetings and managing public documents.
• The clerk's office reviews event applications, issues parking permits, jitney passes, garage sale permits and other permits.
• The office also provides licenses for block parties, taxicabs, liquor sales and peddlers.
• Every second Monday of the month from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., a representative of the County Clerk's office comes to the office to handle passports, swearing in and medical licenses.
