• Maplewood is governed by a five-member Township Committee. Committee members run for re-election every three years. At least one seat is up for election every year. 
• The current committee members are Mayor Victor DeLuca, Lester Lewis-Powder, Fred R. Profeta, Jr., Kathleen M. Leventhal and Jerry Ryan.
• The Township Committee meets twice a month, on alternate Tuesdays, with exceptions.
