12Comics Academic Superhero Summer Camp
73 3rd St, South Orange, NJ 07079
12Comics is an enrichment program, which enhances both creative and educational skills of children from first gradeMore through high school. Kids begin by creating their own superhero, either hand-drawn or computer generated and continue to develop comic strips, comic books and online movies. Founders Mark and Tracy Hair have developed a program consisting of a series of missions—including vocabulary, civics, science and history—which challenges students to be both thoughtful and perceptive. They learn computer skills, research proficiency, writing skills and group participation practices all while enjoying the vast world of superheroes. Summer sessions and after-school programs are offered.
Living Spaces
45 Park Rd, Maplewood, NJ 07040

Interior home design specializing in kitchens and baths. For 13 years, Living Spaces, a partner of the HoffmanMore design/build firm, has been helping clients create living spaces that are a perfect fit for each individual and family.

The Maplewood house functions as as "virtual showroom," where clients lay out their floor plan, walk through a roomy kitchen with ample cabinets and appliances that function as an interactive display and are fully vetted (how they live, who makes the coffee) as part of the process to best envision their new space.

Living Spaces' kitchen jobs range from "small to huge" ($30,000 to $300,00). They also design bathrooms, mud rooms, media rooms and recently, have performed overall interior design for the entire home. For a sample, check out President Jacqueline Lindstrom's design of the Teachers' Lounge at the Tuscan elementary school, her gift to the school. Living Spaces features custom cabinets (employs 3 cabinet makers) as well as stock choices and a full line of closet systems. The firm is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and has never had to advertise, as business is generated by repeat customers and referrals.
