South Orange's Other Mothers offers gently-used school clothes, including uniforms
Frugal and fashion meet at Other Mothers. The Irvington Avenue resale store for kids has been reorganized and readied for back-to-school shoppers. While the store has equipment, toys, books and even costumes, a secret specialty of Other Mothers is the large collection of Our Lady of Sorrows school uniforms sold at a fraction of regular retail. "I love that my kids wear school uniforms," says mother Kathy Flynn. "It's simple. And I really love that I can buy the uniforms nearby, where they can try them on, and even at the last minute."
