Township Will Test CodeRED Emergency System Friday

The Township of Maplewood will use the CodeRED Emergency Notification system on Friday, Dec. 7 to call the entire community, according to Township Administrator Joseph Manning. Calls will begin in the late morning and continue until the entire CodeRed database has been attempted. The call will enable Township personnel to operate the system as if there has been a community wide emergency, said Manning. A recorded message will direct recipients to the Township of Maplewood’s website, where they can sign up for the system.
