HK Continues to Collect for Sandy Victims
This Thanksgiving week, donate time or goods to those in true need.
Since shortly after Superstorm Sandy swept through the area, HK Project and friends swept into action, as they often do in a crisis that affects the South Orange and Maplewood community. HK initiated the HK Project Hurricane Sandy Relief Donation Center, located at the Maplewood Woman’s Club (60 Woodland Ave., Maplewood), to collect donations of cleaning supplies, baby supplies, toiletries and other items that they will distribute to the Red Cross and local shelters. The drive continues this week, and HK is seeking both volunteers to work at the donation center, and donations for the "HK Cares Package" (see below for details).
