It's Thanksgiving Week, and after Turkey Day we have Black Friday and Small Business Saturday to look forward to. There are also some other things going on in town this week: The South Orange - Maplewood Board of Education will meet on Monday, Nov. 19 at the BOE building at 525 Academy Street. From the sheer number of burger chains in this country, it's not hard to tell that Americans love cheeseburgers. Beginning September 10, Highland Place/Cranes will be open for dinner Monday nights from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. To kick off the new hours, everything on the children's menu will be just $3, and the restaurant will feature a "Family Picnic" special: hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, coleslaw and corn for a family of four, all for $30. There will also be entertainment for the little ones. Happy Hour (4pm-6pm everyday) will feature a half price tapas menu and daily drink specials.
