Host a Dinner, Help SOMA Schools

The Achieve Foundation is seeking hosts for it annual "Night of 100 Dinners"

  It might only be mid-December, but the folks at the Achieve Foundation are already planning for its 9th Annual Night of 100 Dinners, which will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013. The event asks South Orange and Maplewood residents to open their homes to dinner guests to help raise critical funding for the foundation's programs that benefit the South Orange - Maplewood School District (SOMSD). Night of a Hundred Dinners Serves Hundreds, Raises Thousands

The annual fundraiser benefits Achieve

Take a Night of a Hundred Dinners and double it. Then multiply by four. This year’s Night of a Hundred Dinners, the eighth annual fundraiser, saw close to 800 participants, wining, dining and supporting the Achieve Foundation. Event co-chairs Eileen Neri and Mutlu Bascillar aimed to raise $40,000 this year, and with checks still coming in (and still welcome!), they have surpassed their goal.  This year was special, says Neri, as the evening will provide a boost to the Take a Seat campaign.
