Tickets for Ira Glass are Still Available

The Seth Boyden Series: a conversation with culture will be launched on Sunday evening, January 13, 2013 at 7pm

Ira Glass comes to town on Sunday, January 13, at 7 p.m. Speaking at Columbia High School, Glass, host and creator of the popular public radio program This American Life , will be joined by his creative team of producers and will be interviewed by NY1-TV reporter and South Orange resident Budd Mishkin. Among the producers interviewed will be This American Life’s Senior Producer, Julie Snyder, a resident of Maplewood. Together, the team will reveal how the show is put together and how the creative team works to push broadcast journalism beyond the typical and expected boundaries. Principal Becomes Cat in The Hat

Seth Boyden principal Mark Quiles plays another role closer to home. Quiles becomes the Cat in the Hat for an upcoming production of "Seussical" this weekend in Wyckoff. Pictured here, Quiles visited the Mahwah Day Care and Christian Health Care Center recently to interact with children. The Wyckoff YMCA will present the musical from Dec. 6-9. Seth Boyden Marks 100 Days of School

Seth Boyden kindergarteners enjoyed the traditional "portable crawl" to celebrate the 100th day of school.

Building, dance, stories and music were featured as students rotated between classrooms during this mid-year milestone.
