Station House Rising in Maplewood
New luxury rentals are taking shape where old police station stood.
The Station House, a 50-unit luxury apartment complex on the grounds of the former Maplewood Police Station, won't be ready for occupancy until June at the earliest -- but it is already attracting a great deal of interest. "We have about 80 people who said they are interested in pre-leasing," said the building's listing agent, Allison Ziefert of Keller-Williams Midtown Direct Realty. Ziefert said she will begin accepting deposits in March from people who want to tour a unit. Ziefert said she is receiving several calls a day from people interested in the building "as people see it go up."
