The first Nor'easter of 2013 (aka "Nemo") blanketed our region in a foot or more of snow. Once residents dug out, many were outside enjoying the excellent sledding and sunny skies. Maplewood really did look like a winter wonderland. Just for the record, Fred Profeta was not only the former Deputy Mayor, he was Mayor as well. Perhaps the finest Mayor this town has known. He's certainly been the best since I've lived here which is going on close to 15 years.   more ›
