Words Bookstore Owner on MSNBC

Zimiles will discuss Marketplace Fairness Act on 'Your Business' show Sunday.

Jonah Zimiles, owner of Words Bookstore in Maplewood, is scheduled to appear as a guest on MSNBC’s television show, "Your Business," to be broadcast on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. Host J.J. Ramberg will ask Zimiles about the Marketplace Fairness Act, which has passed the U.S. Senate and is currently pending before the House of Representatives.  According to Zimiles, the bill will enhance tax fairness by leveling the playing field between online retailers and brick and mortar stores regarding the collection of sales tax, and provide funds desperately needed by states and municipalities.   Last year, Zimiles traveled to Washington to speak with Senator Robert Menendez’s staff about the bill, which Menendez later voted in favor of.
